How hours are counted
Each day is clock-out minus clock-in, less the break in minutes. A shift that ends after midnight, such as 22:00 to 02:00, counts as four hours on the day it started. Hours show as decimals, so 7 hours 30 minutes is 7.50.
Overtime
Overtime is counted per seven-day block, after the weekly limit you set. Forty hours at 1.5 times pay is the starting setting because it is a common arrangement, not because it applies to you. Rules differ by country, state and contract, so set the numbers your employer actually uses. Clear the limit if you do not get overtime.
Pay figures
Enter an hourly rate to see gross pay. It is the amount before tax and other deductions, and it is an estimate to check against your pay slip, not a payroll record.
